Article Writing Tips - How to Write Better Article Titles That Work in Any Situation

Many article writers, when they are just getting started, spend a lot of time crafting their articles but do not spend enough time on the title. Here's the truth: if your article is great but your title is boring, nobody is going to click on it and read it! So you have to write compelling article titles that get people eager to open up your articles and read them.

One super simple way to write titles is to start with 'how to'. This is a no-brainer and it has worked for as long as people started using them as titles for books or newspaper articles. This simple method works great for Internet articles as people are constantly searching specifically for this type of information, 'how to' information.

Another easy way to create interesting titles is to use a question. Use a question that incites fear or greed. Fear and greed are the most common emotions when it comes to making decisions to buy something. Fear is more powerful, and when used with a question, can get your page views rocketing upwards.

The third method is to imply that there are some 'hidden secrets' not yet revealed. This can be done by starting an article with 'Revealed' or 'Exposed' followed by your article title, which can even start with a 'how to'. People are compelled with secret information and if your title promises that they can get that, people will open up your article.

I hope this article has helped you come up with new ideas to spruce up the titles of your articles!
